Reading is a great thing to do. For kids in Elementary till your an adult even older. I like to read books, but not just any books I read a certain type of book.
Normally I would read books about Friendship, adventure, and I like to read other people’s diaries. Just joking, but I do read diaries that are written as books.
I just finished reading a book called confetti girl by Diana Lopez, it’s a book about a girl that lost her mom and lives with dad that spends more time reading books than with his daughter, Lina (the main character) has a best friend but half way throw middle school Vanessa (Her friend) uses Lina to get together with her boyfriend. Lina fails a class gets in fight but you have to find out the rest. The book made me feel like I was her and I was living her life, but when I closed the book I was me again.
Now I am reading a book called Secret of my Hollywood life it’s by Jen Calonita. I only read two chapters but it is still really interesting.
This summer I went back to Canada with my family. In Canada I went to live with my Grandma in her home (because we don’t have a home back in Canada). During the summer my mom’s side visited a lot, and we also went to Waterloo for a day and my dad’s mom and dad came down to Port for a day also. But most of the summer we stayed around the pool our we played it the pool, and I also played with my friend Julia Menard. Together we watched a movie, played at both my house and her house, she also had a birthday party and finally she had a sleepover at my house and we had one at her house.
The funnest part about my summer was the Laf-Olympics, it’s this Olympic we have every year just for fun as a family. So all my aunts, uncles and cousins were there. What made it so much fun was that every team wanted to win (like normal) because we didn’t want my uncle Paul and it’s team to win. That is because he says he wins every year, and guess what he didn’t win at all! This year was the best year for the lobsters because they got to lay on my uncle Paul head, LOL.
This year I learned that you have to try and even if you try there will always be a cheater, just kitting.
I learned that even if you try your hardest you might not win and that’s alright because not everyone can win there will be winners and there will be not winners and that is alright.
Oh I forgot I thought this summer went way to fast what do you think?????
